The whole piece of cloth should be taken as the basic unit when inspecting the knitted fabric inspection machine. The cloth inspection can be carried out by means of a knitted fabric inspection machine or by hand on the platform, but the two must be based on the front and full width of the cloth that can be inspected.
(1) When inspecting the knitted fabric inspection machine, it should be carried out under sufficient lighting equipment, and try to avoid interference from reflections and shadows.
(2) The illuminating light should be directed at the knitted fabric inspection machine or the cloth inspection table vertically, and the inspected fabric should preferably form an angle of 45° with the irradiating light.
(3) No penalty shall be imposed for any defects that are beyond normal reasonable control or are formed based on the characteristics of the fabric. For example, the roving that usually appears on the cloth surface of linen cloth is a typical example.
(4) In the same code cloth, regardless of the latitude and longitude defects, 10 points are the highest penalty points.
(5) If a certain defect occurs regularly and repeatedly on the whole piece of cloth, this piece must be reduced to inferior cloth.
(6) Defects within half an inch near the edge of the cloth may not be counted.
(7) Except for the special agreement between the buyer and the seller, generally only the front side of the visual cloth is inspected.
